Indonesian School Accreditation Needs to be Improved
To address current Indonesian school accreditation weaknesses, what we need are :
- Changing the accreditation assessment from single visit to multy visits. 3 to 4 visits over a year is an ideal, either scheduled or unscheduled. Using the accreditation instrument, assessor team periodically capture school’s stable performance.
- Changing the accreditation assessment from document as an object of assessment, to be a supporting instrument of assessment. (e.g.) Assessment of school cooperation with external parties. Document of MoU, agreement, are not the main point, but it’s implementation and how significantly support the success of school program are.
